Elizabeth Hattam - Birth about 1847 Sancreed

Elizabeth is listed as the first child of John Hattam and Ann (Nanny) Jenkin.
They were married on 12th July, 1848. Elizabeth is not mentioned on death certificates of John Hattam and Ann (Nanny) Jenkin.
Was she an illegitimate child, or perhaps she belonged to another family
in Sancreed?

In the 1851 Census, John & Ann are shown aged 24 and 20 respectively, with Elizabeth aged 4, living at Higher Bodinnar, Sancreed.

I have nothing to indicate that John was previously married.

So I speculate that the Census should have shown Elizabeth aged 4 months, if so then the child "Elizabeth" and the child "Elizabeth Anne" are likely to be one and the same.

I haven't yet been through all the 1851 Census, but in due course I hope to have as much from that Census on the site as I have the other 19th Century ones.
